Part 2 (of 8) of The Journey to Colonise The Philippines. On their 1565 voyage across the Pacific, the first island mentioned in this section is today’s Mejit Island in the Marshall islands. The Spanish come across many atolls, then on to Guam, in today’s Northern Mariana islands.
